Budget allocations are structured the same way as regular allocations. However, instead of cost entries, cost budget entries are allocated.

Before a budget allocation journal can be posted, it must be assigned to a budget name.
Note
The budget name can be changed at any time.
The journal can also be edited without being assigned to a budget name.
