Output JournalThe Output Journal extension supports automatic routing suggestions and creates output journal lines with customized lot and package numbers.
When Auto. Explode Routing is enabled for the journal batch, entering a production order number saves the line and explodes its routing. Suggest Last Operation limits the suggestion to the final operation.
Use this action on an output journal line to split its output quantity across lot numbers. You can also assign package numbers, use the Package Nos. number series from Inventory Setup, and define increments. The final generated line receives any remaining quantity.
Tracking fields can be entered directly on journal lines when Item Tracking on Lines is enabled for the batch. Related topics: Create Customized Lot No. and Item Journal Batches.
