In Material Planning mode, BOM Structure shows item lines and lets you maintain the Material Planning flag for the related items.
Material Planning actions
Material Demand (Activate) sets Material Planning to Yes for all item lines in the displayed structure.
Material Demand (Deactivate) sets it to No for all item lines in the displayed structure.
Material Demand (Deactivate All Items) clears the flag for all items, including items outside the current structure.
Planning Worksheet opens the standard planning worksheet.
Editing the structure
The Material Planning field is visible and editable only in Material Planning mode. Changes are synchronized to the related item immediately. The mode allows only item lines and prevents two users from planning the same item simultaneously.
