 Structure Lines

Use structure lines to model the composition of the item to be calculated. Enter components and capacities manually or import them from production BOMs and routings; assemblies can be exploded across multiple levels.

Fields
IndentationSpecifies the hierarchy level of the position within an exploded assembly.
TypeSpecifies whether the position is an item, assembly, capacity, general ledger account, or dummy item.
No.Specifies the number of the entry or record according to the selected type.
Variant CodeSpecifies the variant of the item on the line.
DescriptionSpecifies a description of the calculation plan line.
Description 2Specifies an additional description of the calculation plan line.
Comment existingSpecifies whether comments exist.
Quantity perSpecifies the quantity required for one unit of the parent assembly.
Setup TimeSpecifies the setup time of the routing line.
Run Time MachineSpecifies the machine time portion without personnel. It is valued separately from the personnel time portion when base lines are created.
Run Time PersonnelSpecifies the personnel time portion derived from setup time and run time.
Cost Quantifier MachineSpecifies the factor used to value the machine time portion.
Run TimeSpecifies the run time of the routing line.
Calculation FormulaSpecifies how the quantity is calculated from the stored dimensions.
LengthSpecifies the length of one item unit when measured in the specified unit of measure.
WidthSpecifies the width of one item unit when measured in the specified unit of measure.
DepthSpecifies the depth of one item unit when measured in the specified unit of measure.
WeightSpecifies the weight of one item unit when measured in the specified unit of measure.
Calculation Plan QuantitySpecifies the calculation plan header quantity used to calculate this structure line quantity.
QuantitySpecifies the calculated total quantity for this position, including quantity per and calculation plan quantity.
Unit of Measure CodeSpecifies the unit of measure of the structure line.
Calculation AmountSpecifies the cost contribution of this structure position.
Calculation SumSpecifies the calculation sum under which this position is considered in the result lines.
Production BOM No.Specifies the production BOM number.
Routing No.Specifies the routing number.

Actions

  • Comments

    Opens the comments for the selected structure line.

  • Explode BOM

    Explodes the certified production BOM and routing of the assembly into structure lines.

  • Show BOM

    Opens the production BOM assigned to the structure line.

  • Show Routing

    Opens the routing assigned to the structure line.

  • Import BOM

    Lets you select a production BOM and inserts its lines after the current structure line.

  • Import Routing

    Lets you select a routing and inserts its lines after the current structure line.
