Extended SPCExtended SPC adds the SharePoint Connector Factbox to selected Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central pages and provides processing reports for moving standard document attachments to SharePoint.
The app is intended for administrators who control where the Factbox is available and for users who manage documents for master data, sales, purchasing, projects, employees, and assembly records.
Extended SPC requires the SharePoint Connector app. SharePoint sites, folders, table mappings, authentication, and permissions are configured in that app.

Install the dependency before Extended SPC. After installation, configure SharePoint authentication and table mappings in SharePoint Connector, then continue with Extended SPC Setup.
Extended SPC SetupUse Extended SPC Setup to decide on which supported Business Central pages the SharePoint Factbox is shown. The selection is stored for the extension and is not company-specific.
| Field | Description |
| Activated Pages | Indicates whether at least one page is currently enabled. The field cannot be typed into directly. Use its AssistEdit button to open Page Selection. |
An administrator approves the pages that may use the Factbox. A regular selection session displays only approved pages and controls which of them are active. Because the selection is shared, changes affect all companies that use the extension.
The Factbox appears only when both conditions are met: the page is active in Extended SPC and the underlying table has a SharePoint Connector mapping that requires the Factbox.
Page SelectionUse Page Selection to control where Extended SPC may display the SharePoint Factbox. The list is built from the page extensions supplied by this app.
| Field | Description |
| Name | The caption of the original Business Central page. |
| Original Page Name | The technical name of the original page. |
| SubType | The subtype reported for the original page. |
| Selected | Activates an administrator-approved page for the SharePoint Factbox. |
| Admin Selected | Approves or removes a supported page. This field is displayed only in administrator mode. |
Administrators see all Extended SPC page extensions and decide which pages are approved. Outside administrator mode, the list contains only approved pages and allows those pages to be activated or deactivated. Selections are shared across companies.
Activating a page alone does not guarantee that the Factbox appears. The underlying table must also have a suitable SharePoint Connector mapping.
Administrator AuthorizationThe ESPC Admin Password dialog authorizes the current Business Central user for administrator mode in Page Selection. The password is masked while it is entered.
After successful validation, the app stores the administrator flag for the current user and confirms the authorization. An invalid password does not grant access.
The app does not expose a standard navigation action for this dialog in the analyzed version. Access therefore depends on the deployment's navigation or customization. Contact the extension administrator if administrator mode is required.
Working with Extended SPCExtended SPC supports two related ways of managing files: working with SharePoint files directly from supported pages and transferring existing Business Central document attachments to SharePoint.
The transfer removes processed standard attachment records from Business Central. Test the process with narrow filters and confirm the SharePoint destination before scheduling a larger run.
SharePoint FactboxExtended SPC places the SharePoint Connector Factbox in the FactBoxes area of supported pages. When you move to another record, the app loads the mapped SharePoint folder in a background task so the page remains responsive.
The Factbox is visible only if the current page is active in Extended SPC Setup and the record's table has a suitable SharePoint Connector mapping. An administrator may also limit which supported pages are available for activation.
The Factbox content is loaded asynchronously for the current record. If loading fails, the SharePoint Connector error is displayed in the Factbox. Check authentication, the site name, base folder, folder mapping, and the user's SharePoint permissions.
Transfer Attachments to SharePointUse the processing reports to move files from standard Business Central Document Attachments to the SharePoint folder determined by the SharePoint Connector table mapping.
This task report lets you choose the record types to process and apply filters for each selected type.
| Option | Records processed |
| Process Project | Projects |
| Process Bank Accounts | Bank accounts |
| Process Fixed Assets | Fixed assets |
| Process G/L Accounts | G/L accounts |
| Process Posted Purchase Invoices | Posted purchase invoices |
| Process Purchase Orders | Released purchase orders only |
| Process Sales Invoices | Posted sales invoices |
| Process Sales Credit Memos | Posted sales credit memos |
| Process Service Orders | Service orders |
| Transfer Metadata | This option is shown on the request page. In app version 0.0.8.1, the report does not evaluate the option; metadata behavior is therefore determined by the custom transfer and SharePoint Connector configuration. |
The custom report can be run with filters for table ID, record number, attached date, document type, and user. It supports source tables with a one-field primary key and sales, purchase, or service headers with a two-field primary key.
For each selected attachment, the report resolves the source record and destination folder, uploads the file, and fills configured SharePoint custom columns. The attachment record is then deleted from Business Central. Use precise filters and verify the result in SharePoint.
If an upload fails, processing stops with an error. Review the filters before rerunning because successfully processed attachment records have already been removed.
