In the setup, the functionalities can be activated via the following fields:

Create Item Variant Automatically With New BOM Version	Activates the functionality to automatically create a Item Variant for a new BOM Version.
Sales Line	Defines whether the default variant in the sales line table should be used when in the sales line field Type is set to Item and field No. is validated with the item no.
Purchase Line	Defines whether the default variant in the purchase line table should be used when in the purchase line field Type is set to Item and field No. is validated with the item no.
Item Journal Line	Defines whether the default variant in the item journal line table should be used when in the item journal line field Item No. is validated with the item no.
Production BOM Line	Defines whether the default variant in the production bom line table should be used when in the production bom line field Type is set to Item and field No. is validated with the item no.
Requisition Line	Defines whether the default variant in the requisition line table should be used when in the requisition line field Type is set to Item and field No. is validated with the item no.
