For a table for which you have defined Manual Replication, a newly created record is not automatically scheduled for replication. You must do this manually. In this case, a Replication Factbox appears on the card page, through which you can specify that the record should be replicated. For tables that do not have a card page and can only be edited in a list view, this option is not available. Please note the following points when Manual Replication is activated:
  • When creating a new record, it is not immediately replicated.
  • Repl. Companies The Repl. Companies field is located in the replication section of the respective card page (e.g., Customer Card) and allows you to control exactly which companies the record should be replicated to. By clicking on the value (e.g., None), a selection window opens with the following options:
    • None This record will not be replicated.
    • Some You must specify which companies the record should be replicated to.
    • All according to Setup The record will be replicated to all companies as defined in the Replication Setup Tables.
    • Company Group The record will be replicated to all companies that belong to the specified group.
    As soon as you set this parameter, the replication entries are created and will be processed during the next replication run. No further action is required.

Actions

  • Apply Default Values

    With the Apply Default Values action, you can perform the replication either for the current record or for all records that have not yet been activated. The suggested default value is taken from the Manual Replication Setup. When using this option, you have two possibilities:
    • Activate the current record for replication.
    • Activate all records of this table that currently have the replication setting "None".
    A confirmation message shows the number of affected records.
