General
App SetupUse the Stock Styles page to define how inventory levels are highlighted. You can define a rule for an individual item or reuse one rule for all items in an item category.
An item-specific rule has priority. If no such rule exists, the app uses the rule assigned to the item's category. When that category has no rule, parent categories are checked until a rule is found. Without a matching rule, no stock style is applied.
| Range | Condition |
| Low | Inventory is less than or equal to Threshold 1. |
| Middle | Inventory is greater than Threshold 1 and less than or equal to Threshold 2. |
| High | Inventory is greater than Threshold 2. |
Working with the AppThe app visually classifies item inventory as low, middle, or high. The style shown for an item is calculated from its current inventory and the applicable stock style rule.
Create at least one stock style rule. Category rules are useful as defaults, while item rules allow exceptions for individual items.
When an item or item category is deleted, its directly assigned stock style rule is deleted automatically.
Item List Stock StyleUse this read-only list to review item inventory with the visual style determined by the applicable stock style rule. The style is applied to the item number, description, and inventory.
The current total inventory is compared with the two thresholds. An item rule takes priority over category rules; parent category rules are used as fallbacks. Items without a matching rule are displayed without an additional style.
