In the XML Builder Setup page the general settings and defaults for the XML Builder.

General, Fields
Disable API AccessSpecifies whether API access should be disabled. For more information, see Information for Developers, API.

Optional Extensions

Optional extensions are additional modules that expand the functionality of the XML Builder. They can be installed independently of one another and must be licensed separately.

Note

  • Optional extensions are available starting with Business Central 28.
  • For customers who were already using older versions of the XML Builder, all optional extensions will be available free of charge after upgrading to BC 28. In this case, optional extensions can be installed at any time. The extensions are then automatically licensed.
The following optional extensions are currently available:

XML Builder - Unlimited Schemas

By default, no more than 10 schemas are allowed per company. An unlimited number of schemas in the XML Builder is allowed only if this extension is installed.

Note

The limit applies only to general schemas. Special schemas from other extensions, such as E-Document - ebInterface, are not limited.

XML Builder - Cross-Company

Changing the company in the schemas of the XML Builder is allowed only if this extension is installed.

XML Builder - API

API access to the schemas of the XML Builder is allowed only if this extension is installed. For more information, see Information for Developers, API.

XML Builder - Gold

If this extension is installed, all features of the XML Builder are unlocked.

System, Actions

  • NAVAX License Management

    Opens the NAVAX License Management which displays the current license status of the NAVAX extensions. For more information, see Appendix, NAVAX License Management.

  • Search Marketplace

    Opens the Marketplace website and searches for optional XML Builder extensions. Search Marketplace now
